Part 9: Return
Ashura spent the next few months enjoying himself in the paradise. He made friends with lots of the Mews, and was almost at the point where he knew the whole place as well as Nao and the others. The girl he bumped into the day after he arrived even asked him out. Her name was Aemi, and she revealed to Ashura not too long ago that she liked him. Strange as he found it, Ashura liked her too. Syria liked Ashura as a friend, but she never likes him to the extent that Aemi did. Sagi and Ashura had become pretty close friends, you could never tell that on Ashura's first day he had a scuffle with him. Ashura's human scent had completely vanished, making it nearly impossible to tell that he was once a human. However, Ashura wasn't completely happy. For the past few night he had not been able to fall asleep. This is where the current events take place.
"Awake again I see." Ayu said to Ashura. "You knew huh?" Ashura asked. "Yes, you haven't been sleeping at all the past few days. Even if you're still young, you still need to sleep. Something must be on your mind, mind telling me what it is?" Ayu said. "I...I..." Ashura tried to say. "You miss your family and friends?" Ayu finished.
Ashura nodded his head.
"You want to see them again?" Ayu asked. "Can I really do that?" Ashura wondered. "Yes, that's one of the reasons we gave you that necklace. If you want, you can leave tomorrow, but you must be careful. Also know that we expect you back within a day or two." Ayu informed.
Ashura was excited by this news. It allowed him to sleep that night. The next day, Nao and the others led him to the portal that led out of the paradise. They told him that he must not tell anyone what he's seen, and that he could also teleport himself to the location he wanted to go since he'd become so accustomed to his powers. Ashura left and thanked them. After he left, the council sent two older Mews to secretly keep an eye on him, like Nao and the others had agreed. Ashura teleported himself to Pallet Town. After making sure nobody was around to see him, he transformed into his human form. he knocked on the and Delia answered it.
"Hi, mom!" Ashura greeted. "Ash? Is that really you?" Delia wondered, speechless. "Yes, it's me." Ashura answered.
Delia hugged Ashura tightly, crying at the same time. She also apologized for not telling him about his heritage. Ashura told her that he forgave her. Delia informed Ashura that Misty had come to her, and had recently been staying at prof. Oak's lab. Ashura thanked her and said he was going to go check it out. He teleported himself over and knocked at the Professor's door. Oak and Tracey both happily greeted him, they new about what happened to Ashura. Misty appeared at the door, she couldn't believe that it was really him. She cried and she jumped into his arms.
"Ash, I missed you!" she cried. "I missed you too." Ashura replied.
Oak said that Ashura should come inside and see his friends, in other words, his pokemon. Once inside, Misty pointed out that Ashura's tail was showing. Ashura quickly fixed the problem.
"That's embarassing, I still mess up on transforming into myself." Ash giggled. "How have you been Ash...I mean Ashura?" Misty asked. "You can call me Ash, it'd probably be better if you did while I was here. And I've been just doing just fine. I actually don't mind being a Mew anymore." Ashura replied.
Before they reached the pokemon, Ashura heaved a sigh.
"Misty, I'm sorry, but I just can't love you the way I used to. Things have changed now, and it's probably for your best interest." Ashura announced.
Misty quickly kissed Ashura on the cheek.
"Nor would I expect you to. I realize that things are different, and I just want what's better for everyone. It's what my heart wants, even if it still wants you." Misty stated. "Misty...thank you." Ashura smiled.

Part 10: Attack
Ashura entered the area of Oak's lab where all of his pokemon were held. All of them rushed towards Ashura, they were happy to see him. Each one of them noticed Ashura's change, and Ashura could understand them. Ashura thanked them all for helping for him back when he was their trainer. One more character emerged from the pack, it was Pikachu.
"Hey little buddy! Well, I guess compared to me you're not so little anymore." Ashura greeted.
Ashura hugged Pikachu tightly, telling him that he wished he could tell him everything he's seen. Meanwhile, outside of the lab, three familiar characters were observing the scene.
"Oh great, the twerp's back!" Meowth scowled. "Just our luck, we finally find the perfect chance to steal some pokemon, and he has to return." James moaned. "But, there's something different about him..." Meowth realized. "What do you mean?" Jessie wondered. "I don't know, something just doesn't feel right about him." Meowth replied.
Ashura went with the others back inside. Ashura said he was going to back to see his mom one more time and Misty and Pikachu offered to join him. Before he was to leave, he asked Oak if he wanted to examine him in his true form.
"You'd really allow me to do that?" Oak questioned. "Sure, you're my friend, almost to the point of being my relative. The least I could do for you is give you the chance to examine a rare pokemon." Ashura smiled.
Ashura transformed back into his true form and allowed Oak to run a few tests on him. All of the tests were harmless, and took little time to complete. It allowed Prof. Oak to understand the general features of a Mew though. Ashura transformed back into his human form, making sure he didn't accidently forget about his tail. Oak thanked him as the three left. Ashura suddenly stopped on the path.
"What's the matter?" Misty asked. "What are you doing here?!" Ashura demanded.
Misty and Pikachu were both puzzled. Ashura kicked a nearby tree and two older Mews fell out of it.
"Check it out! Forget about Pikachu and the others, this is much better!" Meowth gasped.
Ashura glared at the two Mews.
"Well..." Ashura asked again, stomping his foot. "We were asked to keep an eye on you. Just incase you needed protection. We had no plans to interupt you or stop you from doing anything." one Mew answered.
Ashura agreed to let it slide, but stated that he didn't need any protection. Suddenly, Team Rocket appeared in their balloon. They fired a special gun at the Mews, trapping them in a bubble that prevented them from using any powers. They said their motto.
"Team Rocket, let those two Mews go!" Ashura ordered. "Yeah right twerp, like we'd even hand over these rare pokemon!" Jessie cackled.
Pikachu tried shocking the balloon, but it was re-enforced with a special absorbing material. Ashura began to grow angry. Psychic energy poured from his body.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Meowth announced.
Jessie and James both looked at Ashura, who looked like he was ready to kill.
"What up with the twerp?" James wondered.
Ashura jumped high into the air. Team Rocket began to freak out at Ashura's height. Ashura grabbed the edge of the balloon and used his strength to hurl it downwards. After ripping the two Mews free from the bubble, everyone sent the three flying. The two Mews realized that Ashura really didn't need protection after all. They left peacefuly, but still secretly kept an eye on him. Ashura realized this, but didn't pay too much attention. Misty and Pikachu complimented Ashura.
"Thanks." Ash said.

Part 11: The Secret of Ashura's Birth
Ashura, Misty, and Pikachu all arrived at Delia's house. Delia once again hugged Ashura and everyone entered.
"Mom, I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about dad?" Ashura requested. "I guess I could. He always used the name Shiro, but he told me his real name was Shura. When I was out grocery shopping one day, I was attacked by a wild pokemon. To my surprise, your father came to my rescue. He was a Mew, and I was stricken with awe when I saw him. I thanked him and noticed he had a small injury on his leg. I used a ribbon I had to wrap it up. A few days later I saw a young man who seemed to be waiting for me alongside the road. He said he was happy to see me again, and I wondered what he meant. He lifted up his leg and revealed my ribbon tied around it. His human form was handsome, and he admitted his love for me. I surprisingly fell in love with him, and the rest you can probably figure out on your own." Delia explained. "I see." Ashura replied.
Delia looked at Ashura closely and apologized again. It was then that she noticed the necklace.
"That pendant, it was your father's, wasn't it?" Delia asked. "Yes, a friend gave it to me and told me it was his." Ashura answered. "It just reminded me of something your father once said. He didn't want you to know for personal reasons, but I think he said it symbolized some kind of nobility among his race." Delia informed. ""What?!" Ashura gasped.
Misty and Pikachu were just listening in on everything. Ashura didn't stay for too much longer. He gave everyone a hug and said his good byes. He teleported himself to Pewter City and said hello to brock. He then stopped by Petalburg City to say hi to May. Max was on his own journey, so Ashura had no idea where he was. Ashura met up with the two Mews that were following him, and returned to the paradise. After the two left, Ashura soon met up with Nao and the others.
"Does this thing really symbolize some kind of nobility?!" Ashura demanded.
Nao and the others began laughing.
"I can't believe that it worked! He really did figure it out!" Nao laughed. "So it's true then?" Ashura wondered. "Yes, it is." Eito asnwered. "Then does that mean that I'm..." Ashura began. "You're a prince. We were forbidden to tell you, but you figured it out on your own, so we can't get in trouble for it." Ayu interupted. "I'm a prince?" Ashura gasped. "Yes, but don't go around blabbing about that. Truth is, the council forbade us from telling you in return for your freedom. You see, they wanted to put restrictions on you and teach you how to be a propper leader. When you are a bit older, youu take the throne, and the council is afraid you might make some wrong decisions. Your father hated his life as a prince, and didn't want you to live the same life he did, that's why he kept you with the humans. His last request was for us to protect you." Nao explained. "Listen Ashura-sama*, you mustn't let the council know you know, not yet at least. We'll continue to address you as AShura-kun to hide it. If you want to live freely you must live like you have been." Eito warned. "I will." Ashura agreed.
Ashura promised not to tell anyone what he knew, and left them. There were still a few hours of daylight left, and he wanted to have a little fun before he met back up with them.
*Sama is a term of the highest respect. It indicates a lord, ruler, leader, or master.

Chapter 12: Decision of the Prince
Aemi spotted Ashura and flew over to him, hugging him tightly.
"You're back!" she cheered happily. "Yes, I wasn't gone that long." Ashura replied. "It's not the length, it's just the danger since you're a Mew too." Aemi informed. "I'll be fine." Ashura assured.
After saying hello to Sagi, Syria, and all of his other friends, Ashura went back to meet up with Nao and the others. Aemi joined Ashura, as she enjoyed being with him.
"Hello Aemi-chan*." Nao greeted. "Nice to see you again Nao-san**." Aemi replied.
The group sat down to eat, and later Ashura went to sleep, with Aemi curled up beside him.
"They are pretty cute together." Ayu admitted. "You can't really blame them. Aemi doesn't open to many people." Eito smiled.
A few more months passed, and Ashura had fully accumstomed to his new way of life. He still thought about his friends, but it never dragged him down anymore. However, one day everything changed when a startling announcement was made.
"There's a human here! A human girl!" one Mew announced.
Everyone gathered around the area to see a girl, no older than 5, lying unconscious on the ground. The council had made a public appearance.
"How did the human get here?!" the eldest demanded.
One mew stepped up and revealed that he had met the girl while he was travelling in the human world. He said she was abandoned in a forest and was attacked, so he protected her. When he tried to leave, the girl latched onto a ended up being teleported there. She saw everything, and he was forced to use an attack to put her to sleep. Since he was a Mew of higher power and age, he could teleport to the dimension at will. He apologized for his mistake of accidently bringing her to the paradise. The council discussed what to do. They couldn't just let her leave, so they thought about erasing her memory. However, that might cause her to forget her family if something happened that caused her to get lost. They only options were to keep her imprisoned, or do the unthinkable.
"You can't do that!" Ashura exclaimed. "Quiet boy, this isn't your problem!" one council member shouted. "Yes it is, in fact what I say goes!" Ashura declared. "Nao!" the eldest shouted angrilly. "Now, we promised not to tell him, we never said we wouldn't let him find out on his own. His human mother told him." Nao laughed triumphantly. "Ashura-sama, you realize what you're doing, don't you?" Ayu wondered. "My freedom isn't as important as her life." Ashura replied.
Ashura held up his necklace, showing it everyone. The older mew all knew what it meant. Ashura had the final say in the matter.
"Search the entire planet and see if you can find anything about her, if you can't report back to me!" Ashura ordered.
The older Mews all scattered. The coucil approached Ashura and told him that they hoped he would make a propper decision. The girl stayed out for the whole day. When all of the Mews returned, they stated that girl is being search for anywhere on the planet. Ashura traqnsformed into his human form and apprached the girl as she woke up. Ashura asked if she knew anything about her family. She began crying, saying that some theif killed her parents and kidnapped her. She was left in the woods to die. Her wording was difficult, but Ashura undertsood it the best he could. She cried in his arms, saying she wished she could forget everything. Ashura used his powers to put her back to sleep. He placed his hand on her forehead and understood that the theif did things to her that would scar her for life. He found the girl was unhappy even when her parents were alive. He then approached the council.
"She can't survive out there on her own, and as far as I understand, she's presumed dead. She'll stay here, but you can erase her memory of living with humans. Her mind can't handle any more stress." Ashura decided. "Are you sure about this?" the eldest questioned. "We can give her the happiness she deserves. If anything comes bad of this, I'll take full blame." Ashura replied.
*Chan is used to refer to a younger girl, or one lower in rank than or the same rank as you. If used after a boy's name, it's an insult telling one how weak they are. **San is used to show respect to a person older than you, or someone who is higher in rank than or the same rank as you. Usually when talking to some the same rank as you, you only use san if both of you are 13 or older. San may be used after a boy or girl's name.
