Chapter Thirteen--Hanging By a Moment
Peter started heading down the air vent, when he looked back at Lance. Five hooded soldiers surrounded Lance. Peter began to worry about Lance. The odds were not in his favor. However, Peter did not know one factor in the equation... Lance was a great fighter.
"Put your hands up, Mr. Hero," said one of the hooded soldiers.
Lance responded by staring in his eyes.
"So... you want to be a tough guy also, eh?" the soldier rhetorically asked. "Houndoom!"
Each hooded soldier threw three Pokeballs, each of them, a Houndoom came out of.
From his sleeve, Lance pulled out a metal stick, and got into a comfortable stance. In a snap, the Houndoom attacked. Lance knocked his enemies out of the way, as they leapt at him. The fifteen dark dogs tried special tactics on how to attack Lance, but Lance kept his cool and belted each of them when they tried to get near.
When Peter saw that Lance had the advantage, Peter headed down the dusty chute. As he climbed through, he was surprised that none of the crewmen on the ship got asthma attacks, allergies, or such.
Spider webs formed walls in the air vent. At times, it took a few minutes before Peter could break free from the clutches of the webs.
Finally, Peter could see light from below. He peeked through the opening and saw two guards protecting another room.
Peter only had one pick for a room, because he knew that Lance would be done in a few minutes, and he would need his quick escape. Though all logic that went to Peter's head proved that there were too many rooms, and Ashley couldnt possibly be in that one room that he first saw. But Peter sensed that Ashley was in there. He only had one chance...
After Lance knocked down all the Houndoom, Lance knelt to catch his breath. Suddenly, a fat robed man ran into Lance. Lance flew from his feet, and flew through the hole that Dragonite created. As Lance was exiting from the plane, he quickly grabbed onto a piece of damaged hull, which was connected to the ship. Hanging on with two hands, Lance tried to pull himself toward the ship, but the wind resistance was too great. One of his arms gave in, and Lance was holding onto the ship with one arm. He looked in front of him, and saw that the Houndoom recovered and started to encroach towards Lance. The dark dogs began to drool, looking at their dinner.

Chapter Fourteen--Escape
Holding on with one had, Lance had to think quickly. The Houndoom crept slowly towards Lance. Lance grabbed a Pokeball, and with all his might, threw the ball into the ship. The throw, however, caused Lance to fall from the ship. Lance looked into the hole of the hip, and saw a great yellow light shine from it. Dragonite did his job. As he saw the success, Lance closed his eyes.
As Peter was about to jump into the room below him, a great quake shook the whole ship. The two guards protecting the door fell to the ground. Red lights flashed in all directions
"Attention! Attention!" said a man on the over head. "All men abandon ship! Head to the nearest panic room!"
The two guards protecting the room ran off. Peter wiped the sweat off his forehead, and proceeded in the rescue. Peter jumped down from the vent, and entered a white hallway. Using the key he found in the pocket of the hooded soldier he pummeled, Peter opened the door the two guards protected. In the room was Ashley, who was knocked out. Peter picked attempted to pick her up, but his muscles failed him.
"I knew I should have taken gym more seriously," thought Peter to himself.
Peter tried again, putting his back into it this time. Peter sucessfuly picked up Ashley, looked at her asleep, and smiled. One side of him felt odd he was doing this, but the other side couldnt help but stare at her.
The plane shook, and that got Peter's senses back. Peter carried Ashley out of the room and started looking for an exit.
Peter walked through the main deck of the ship, when the starboard plating blew off. The suction of the air was too powerful for Peter to resist. Peter held on tight to Ashley, and let the wind carry him, wherever it lead.
A blinding light shone in Peter's eyes, and Peter couldnt help but fall asleep. When he awoke, Peter was in an old fashioned bed, in a familiar room.
